Hasmik Konjoyan - Founder and Directress

For over 25 years, Hasmik Konjoyan has dedicated her career to nurturing children's growth through a

holistic, music art-integrated educational approach. A visionary educator, she has inspired

generations of young learners by fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

A Certified Montessori Educator trained in music and art therapy, she is currently earned a Ph.D. in

Educational Psychology—reflecting her commitment to supporting the whole child through the

intersection of education, psychology, and the arts.

With a background in music education and performance, Ms. Konjoyan brings a global perspective to

her teaching. She founded the Luys-Zvart Children’s Choir in 2002 and co-founded the Luys Vocal

Quintet, projects that combined artistic excellence with a-capella singing. Her work with this ensembles

earned multiple accolades, CD recordings including a nomination for Best Choral Album of the Year by

the Armenian Music Awards.

In 2010, she launched the Zangakner Performing Arts Ensemble in Boston, MA, where she used

musicals and concerts to build children’s skills in communication, collaboration, and self-expression.

Ms. Konjoyan was a teacher at Erebuni Armenian School, St. Stephen’s Armenian Elementary School,

Global Montessori School, and e-Bridge Montessori School, where she also founded the school choir.

Her passion for Montessori education led to the founding of Symphony Montessori School, with focus

on early childhood education and Montessori Philosophy.
